Today I’m using my voice to enter the world of the poet Rabindranath Tagore, a native of west Bengal, whose work has often been translated into english. A man who in 1913 won the nobel prize in literature, becoming the first Asian person to receive such an honor.
今天我会用我的声音，带你们走进西孟加拉诗人泰戈尔的世界。他的诗作很多都翻译成了英文版。他在1913年成为了首位荣获诺贝尔文学奖的亚洲人。
Many of you may ask, why choose Tagore? Tagore infiltrate every field of life, whatever human condition occurring, whatever new feeling or thought coming to mind, Tagore has already touched upon it.
很多人会问，为什么要选择泰戈尔呢？泰戈尔的诗歌渗透了我们生活中的每一个领域，无论生活中遇到什么样的境况，人情冷暖，或者有什么新的感觉和想法，我发现泰戈尔都已经谈过了。
What is Love? "Eyes are raining for her, heart is holding umbrella for her, this is love." What is Art? "It is the response of man’s creative soul to the call of the Real. " What is Freedom? "Freedom from fear is the freedom." What is Faith? "Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark." What is Life? "Let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves."

Life and death, happiness or sorrow. All encounters of humanity can be found in Tagore poetry, warming, healing and powerful words.
